Silo - "Warpaint"
Since becoming filmmakers, we have always wanted to direct a western. This is our dip into that genre and it was such a great experience. The band gave us the freedom to write a story that we were passionate about and that's exactly what we did.
Finding the location was quite a challenge, as the local locations managers in town didn't have any leads for us on an abandoned barn and we were left with the tried and true "go find it yourself" workflow. After about 3 or 4 days of driving around searching for the right location, we found this tiny barn tucked away out in Boulder, Colorado. The neighborhood was very supportive and welcoming of our crew filming on their land.
