Shady Oaks - "Home"
This is the product of a very busy day with one guy and a camera.
We obviously did quite a bit of pre-production, but we also left a lot to fate and approached this music video with a more “punk rock” approach. We didn’t have a crew or permits, we just showed up and hoped no one would mind us being there. This might be the most fun and authentic jobs we’ve worked on in a while. The vibes were great and the band was super fun to work with all day. The myriad of weather was kind of a happy accident that we didn’t plan for. Leaving from Boulder, the weather was quite nice and warm, however, as we got closer to Estes Park, Colorado the weather became much colder and SNOW! I love how it gives a certain character to the story and the image and wouldn’t have it any other way. Always bring a coat and gloves!
